Experience
I used to help 6-8 grade students read and write at Mount Logan Middle School every morning for one school year. It was very fulfilling and I enjoyed every moment of it. I am a Human Movement Science major, I have taken two biology courses, and math 1050. I have fulfilled my general education requirements for Utah State with English 1010 and English 2010. I received A+ in both classes. I wrote an article for my school paper, and I was nominated for a creative writing competition. I am on the committee for the Story Tellers club at Utah State University. This is a club where we promote literacy in elementary schools and libraries around Cache Valley. I was apart of FBLA (future business leaders of America). I took fourth place in region for Business Law, and I placed ninth in state for Desktop Publishing. I have a love for music, I have taken piano and voice lessons since I was little. I can read sheet music. I was apart of my high school choir where we took region, placed in state, and won the top category at a music fair in Seattle Washington.
