Experience
I have tutored AVID students using various techniques during one of my class periods. I scored a 25 in Science, 26 in Reading, 23 in English and 23 in Math on my ACT. I want to become a tutor because learning one way for most students doesn't work. Everyone learns completely different. I am a tactile learner. I need to touch and play with things in order to learn about them, so by becoming a tutor hopefully I can help the students figure out what type of learner they are and improve their abilities. I have worked with children for a few years. I am a National Honor Society Graduate as well as a Distinguished Scholar Graduate. I have completed over 150 hours of community service. I also have 34 concurrent enrollment credits under my belt.
